What Are The Different PVP Modes On HypeDrop?

Since 2018, HypeDrop has evolved into one of the best Mystery Box platforms online, and it's not hard to see why. Sure, our classic unboxing mode is awesome, but things got even more exciting when we introduced PVP!

Our PVP modes let players go head-to-head in high-stakes battles, adding a whole new layer of excitement to the game. If you don't have an opponent to play against, you can choose one of our PVP Bots. But be warned, they're just as competitive.

Here’s a breakdown of how each PVP mode works and what makes them so fun.

Crazy Mode

Played in 1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, or 2v2 formats, Crazy Battle Mode adds a wild twist to the usual unboxing game. Instead of trying to get the highest-value items from the Mystery Boxes, the goal here is to grab the lowest-value ones and win everything. If you're someone who always seems to get unlucky with your pulls, this mode is perfect for you! In 1v1, it’s straightforward, but in 2v2, the team shares the prize pool. With more players, a coin flip decides who takes the win!

Shared Mode

As the name suggests, Shared Mode lets players evenly split the prize pool with everyone in the game, whether it’s 1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, or 2v2. No bells or whistles - just a straightforward split. Just remember, this mode is only available in regular battles, so you won’t find it in Crazy, Jackpot or other modes.

Clutch Mode

In Clutch Mode, players having the chance to make huge comebacks, even when it looks like they could lose the PVP Battle. In this mode, the highest-value item wins it all. The player who pulls the most valuable item in the entire battle takes the whole prize pool. It’s a perfect test of nerves and can be played in all formats (1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, or 2v2) and modes, except for Shared Mode.

Terminal Mode

In Terminal Mode, the player who gets the highest-value item in the last round takes the whole prize pool, making it an all-or-nothing showdown. Want to mix things up? You can activate Crazy Mode, which flips the rules, so the player who pulls the lowest-value item in the final round wins instead. Terminal Mode is available in both Crazy and Regular modes and can be played in all team formats - 1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, and 2v2.

Jackpot Mode

Jackpot Mode brings a fresh twist to the HypeDrop PVP experience. In this mode, the higher the value of the items you unbox, the better your chances of winning the jackpot at the end of the battle. Your chances to take home the jackpot prize are based on the value of the items you pull. Jackpot Mode can only be played in Regular Battle Mode, but it’s available in all formats—1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, and 2v2. Need another reason to try it? Just check out this win

Hypespin

HypeSpin is a feature that can be added to any battle mode, and played in all. When players trigger the HypeSpin animation while unboxing, they’re guaranteed a high-value item, cranking up the excitement in PVP battles. Want to see what all the hype is about? Check it out here.
